News Pictures — Dakota Fanning looks like an ice queen in elegant shimmering white gown at the Golden Globes

Article and photos from hienalouca.com

She burst onto the scene at the age of seven, playing Lucy opposite Sean Penn in I Am Sam.

But at 24, Dakota Fanning is now a serious fashion icon, as she proved on the red carpet at the 76th annual Golden Globes.

The American Pastoral actress looked like an ice queen in an elegant sweetheart cut, pearl-colored dress.

Last night the Golden Globe Awards presented us with a glamorous display of dresses, but among the lace and sequin ball gowns it was Dakota Fanning who stood out for us at Fashion Finder in this silver statement.

The actress, who was styled by Samantha McMillen for the event, donned a bespoke Armani Prive down the red carpet, which she finished with Beladora and Neil Lane jewellery, Jimmy Choo heels and a Christian Louboutin bag.

We love this simple yet eye-catching shade that brings a futuristic vibe to this classic strapless dress, which is designed with draping panels for a flattering fit.

It’s a dress we can only dream of wearing, but if Dakota’s inspired your next party look then browse the edit below to replicate the actress no matter your budget. We’ve rounded-up dresses by Alberta Ferretti, Rachel Zoe and Badgley Mischka. Or check out the current Emporio Armani by clicking (right).

The floor-length Armani Privé frock was straightforward in front and had a row of skinny bows down the back.

The Man on Fire star accessorized with a beautiful diamond necklace and one large ring as she wowed those around her.

Dakota’s blonde tresses were parted down the middle and pulled into a bun, and she painted her lips a bright red.

Dakota was at the Golden Globes to represent her show The Alienist, nominated for two awards.

Her co-star Daniel Bruhl was nominated for Best Actor in a Limited-Series or TV Movie, while the show itself was nominated for Best Television Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television.

Unfortunately, the show did not pick up either statuette, as The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story won both awards.

One of the more unexpected moments came when Bohemian Rhapsody won Best Motion Picture Drama.
